Easy Outfit Idea Featuring Items Already In Your Closet

CARDIGAN: BP – This exact cardigan is sold out, but this one is similar!  //  WHITE TEE: Calson  //  JEANS: J Brand “Maria”  //  ANKLE BOOTS: Hinge  //  CLUTCH: Clare V  //  NECKLACE: c/o Charming Charlie  //  EARRINGS: Kendra Scott  //  WATCH: Similar Marc by Marc Jacobs  //  BANGLE: David Yurman

Happy Monday, friends!  So I know we are still in the dog days of summer, but it was under 85 degrees yesterday evening so I’m already in fall mode.  Haha!  Today I want to share my go-to outfit in the fall – super cute, easy to wear, and looks very put together.  Most of the items in today’s look are from the Nordstrom Sale (cardigan, white tee, ankle boots) and unfortunately have already sold out online (but may still be available in stores, if you’re lucky!).  But, I still wanted to share today’s look with you all because it can so easily be recreated using items I know you already have hanging in your closet!  Let’s get started…

  • White Tee & Long Cardigan – These are wardrobe essentials, and if you don’t have a good go-to white tee, I’d like to recommend this one!  It is super soft, has a little pocket detailing (so it looks cute if you are just wearing it by itself), and the rounded neckline is perfect because it is low enough that you could wear a shorter necklace with it but its not so low that it makes you feel uncomfortable.  Throw your favorite cozy cardigan on top & you’re good to go!  I am really loving this hunter green color for fall and I think it would look amazing as a nail polish color as well. 🙂
  • Skinny Jeans & Ankle Boots – Easy, peasy!  I think a lot of people struggle with ankle boots because they don’t know what to wear them with/how to style them, but I’m here to tell you that all you need is a good pair of skinny jeans.   I love this combo because it looks so put together while still being comfortable.
  • Fun Accessories (long necklace, leopard clutch, etc) – Here is where you can have a little fun with your outfit and express your personality.  Because the rest of the outfit is very simple, don’t be afraid to go a little bolder with your accessories to spice things up!  One of my go-to items for fall is a leopard clutch because I love the texture and pop of print that it brings to an outfit.  Have fun with it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
