Happy Monday – I hope everyone had a great weekend! Drew came in town for the weekend and yesterday we made our way over to the pumpkin patch at StoryBook Ranch – it was so cute! I’ve been wanting to visit a pumpkin patch all season but they are surprisingly so hard to find around the Dallas/Forth Worth metroplex. There are always pumpkins for sale at the grocery stores and sometimes churches will have them for sale as a fundraiser in their parking lots, but to find a pumpkin patch that has actual hay, rides, a petting zoo and a huge selection of pumpkins is pretty difficult! The patch at StoryBook Ranch was so cute and was very family friendly (it was free to enter but was $5 / person (I think) to enter the section with the petting zoo & bounce houses, which we didn’t do). I think visiting a pumpkin patch is such a fun “fall” activity and hopefully someday I’ll be able to visit one up in New England when it actually feels like fall with all of the pretty autumn leaves!
To visit the pumpkin patch yesterday, I wore my favorite plaid shirt and this boyfriend cardigan. This has been my favorite combination lately! It’s a classic look and you can even mix it up based on the color of plaid or cardigan that you have. I wear it to work all the time with either a skirt or some nicer pants, but for the weekends I paired it with some jeans for a more causal look. Yesterday I also wore these comfy ankle boots since I knew we would be walking around quite a bit. I’ve been wearing this wood watch on repeat quite a bit lately – if you haven’t entered the $75 JORD Watches gift card giveaway that I mentioned back in this post, you can do so here! Grand prize is $75 but every entry receives a $20 gift card as well.
Thanks for stopping by! Is going to a pumpkin patch something that you do every October?
