For as long as I can remember, my dream home has been the house from the movie Father of the Bride – a classic, all white house with tons of windows with black shutters and big shade trees out front. Bonus points for a little ivy or topiary! I was so surprised when Drew and I happened to stumble upon the house in these photos in Austin last weekend – it is basically my dream home come to life! We had to stop and snap a few pictures in front of it because it is MAJOR #housegoals. They even had a swing hanging from one of the trees out front – I am absolutely obsessed with every detail of this house and hopefully someday I’ll have one just like it!
Today’s outfit is one that is cute, easy, and perfect for summertime. I find that the hotter it gets outside, the more simple I like to keep my outfits. White and cognac/luggage/tan (whatever you prefer to call this color!) is such a chic and sophisticated color combination and is one that I always find myself going back to, which is why I paired this dress with these wedges & this handbag. I especially love white eyelet in the summertime – there is something so sweet & feminine about it! This dress in particular has another two eyelet patterns on it (one at the top & one bordering the bottom) which gives it a little extra detail.
Thanks for stopping by!
